Glenda Rae, a professional watercolour artist and book illustrator of 30 years experience.

Her love for the countryside is evident in her sympathetic, highly detailed paintings of the surrounding wildlife, including badgers, foxes, horses, woodpeckers and kingfishers to name but a few. Sometimes she breaks the rules of accepted watercolours to build up a high intensity of colour, giving the animals and birds a 3D appearance.

Every now and then, to keep her mind creative, she slips into the magical world of fairies, mermaids and sea-horses. Her paintings, which hang in homes around the world, have become highly collectable.
